To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you with regards to a domain you host, BEAUTYBASH.NET
The account was created a few days ago, and there is a message
board
solely on it. It was set up ~SPECIFICALLY~ to post abusive (that
is,
extremely offensive and hateful) messages about certain individuals.
They
have even posted pornographic photos, falsly claiming they are
photos of
these individuals.
Basically, it is a childish board, created out of sheer jealousy/hate
of
others.
The domain name of the board is registered under FALSE information,
and
the owner posts under an alias (despite giving out personal information
about others). You will witness racist, derogatory, and abusive
remarks, as
well as personal threats. Email addresses are also posted, and
viewers
encouraged to "spam" them with porn.
I urge you to take this seriously, and do what you can to shut
this domain
down. It is the cause of MUCH distress and anger, as innocent
victims have
been threatened and they have incurred defamation of character
as well as
false accusations.
Currently, a lawyer has been called to file a Cease & Desist
order against
that hate board. However, it would be in our (and your) best interests
to
shut this domain down before the court gets into this matter.
We do not
wish to harm, but innocent people are being harmed and this will
not do. I
implore you to warn this owner as well as shut the domain down
as soon as
possible.

tahoegossip.com/messageboard site. Whoever set up that site on
your
server has now changed locations to beautybash.net and has continued
to post private information about me and over 10 other women.
I
can't even begin to tell you the amount of unnecessary stress
this
has caused me. I just want it to end. I need the persons name,
email
and home address to send a cease and desist order. You admit to
knowing this information in the email below. You can give it
directly to my attorney if you would feel more comfortable, as
I am
aware she is a friend of yours. My attorney has advised me that
while this hate site is no longer on your domain, the statute
of
limitations in the State of NY and CA still hold you and your
server
liable for this. I have printed out records of everything defaming
and personal she has posted about me and others while it was at
tahoegossip. This includes, but is not limited to, pornographic
material, private IP information, private email information,
copywritten picture infringements, violent threats etc. This is
no
longer just a matter of petty and childish insult trading. This
problem is not going away for me and many others, so I will have
to
do what it takes in order to get this to stop. I have 15 other
people willing to pursue this matter by any means necessary. The
money and time is not the issue for me, it's a matter of peace
of
mind. I am being stalked by a nameless and faceless entity that
has repeatedly proven to be a threat. I do not wish to cause you
any problems, your cooperation in this is much appreciated.

Thanks for your cooperation. The matter has been handed over

legal department of the EFF, who have agreed to aid us in helping
us
pursue this individual. I am sorry that you have been dragged
into this
- obviously we cannot be responsible for what our acquaintances
do. I
commend you on your actions and making a responsible choice to
ask
him/her to remove the board from your site.
I am a private person - I have no issue with anyone, Mr. Spiller.
And I
don't know the women who instigated this board, nor have I done
anything
that warrants this kind of blatant cruelty. At least one individual
who
has been the target of this attack reports receiving floods of

Fetch! - OOOOHHHHHH! A dare! Well, here's how I came to the
conclusion that stacy@graffiti.net is Beverly. "Stacy"
posted a request to alt.hackers.malicious asking for help to hack
into beautybash.net and take it down, which is illegal I might
add. Bev has repeatedly made claims to be a hacker on Swap Tawk
and claimed that she was able to get into our server and move
about freely. When it was proven that she was lying about her
hacking ability she needed to save face, which is an important
part of life when you're Asian. Graffiti.net is a web based email
service that is run out of Hong Kong. Bev lives in Singapore.
Put two and two together and it points to Bev being Stacy. I seriously
doubt Groovynub would be so stupid about soliciting illegal activity
in a public forum such as Usenet. Bev on the other hand has repeatedly
proven her stupidity.

I find it rather interesting that Bev and Melissa only find out what's posted on beautybash after "third parties" inform them. They make claims that they never go to the site themselves...but why? From the log files we can tell exactly how often they are here reading and posting. It's very peculiar to be sure.
Now, for the life of me I don't know what Melissa is referring to as a threat? I'm also baffeled by why she thinks I'm harrassing her? I guess that she thinks that I am the only one posting on beautybash. Uh, ok.
An interesting point to note is that she admits posting on alt.hackers.malicious, but claims that she only knew about the attempt to solicit a hacker from reading beautybash, which she never reads. Now if you weren't involved in an illegal activity and had no knowledge of it in the first place, would you stick your neck out and get yourself involved for no good reason? It's very strange behavior.
I feel sorry for the folks over at rr.com for having to deal with this trivial crap.

For the record, I have nothing against you Melissa. I'm not picking on you and I certainly haven't made threats against you. I do have something against those who attempted to solicit hackers to destroy the server that beautybash resides on. There are legimitate businesses running off that server and if they had been affected by a hacking attempt, there would have been serious trouble that someone would have to answer for.
All I've done is create an unmoderated messageboard in response to the heavily censored MUA boards. I have control over the content and I exercise some degree of moderation but only in the cases that break the basic rules of the board.
I am not making all of the posts here. To date, beautybash has received a total of 4322 unique visits by 1151 unique hosts. There has been a sustained rate of 286.7 hits an hour, 24 hours a day since the site went live. It's impossible for a very small group of people to be responsible for traffic like that.
The only reason that you have been getting picked on is because of the fact that you flooded the board when it first went live. This was obnoxious behavior. You weren't the only one doing it and you're not the only one that gets slammed on the board. I posted the host information of ALL the people flooding and blocked access from the users networks. You weren't singled out by me and i'm not out to get you contrary to what you seem to believe.
Beautybash is just a messageboard. Nothing more. It means very little in the big scheme of things. Terrorists are the threat, not a trite messageboard where people a just slinging a little mud and gossip.
My advice to you is get over it and join in the fun. It's not a "hate board" it's a gossip board.
